Science Fiction Fantasy Saturday - Unicorn Keep

Unicorn Keep is a young adult fantasy romance about a girl who swaps places with her best friend to become a unicorn keeper.

Jiline slid down the final few steps of the steep path. The little meadow was crowded with the trainees.

Keeper Kellye cupped her hands together. “The unicorns will seek you out if they approve of you. If you don’t see a unicorn we will test you again in the spring. If a unicorn charges you, run for your life. We will be watching.”

The two keepers entered the woods in front of her. Somehow she doubted the unicorns were at all tempted to step foot in this crowded clearing so she walked forward to follow the keepers into the woods.

    You'd think the keepers would put corks on the horns. For safety's sake! Health and safety in Britain would have a field-day!

Books to Movies Giveaway Hop

One of my favorite subjects are books to movies. I LOVE watching adaptations and studying the skill of turning a book into a movie. Adaptations are getting a lot of attention now with the success of the Twilight and The Hunger Games series. I could go on and on about the skill it takes to adapt a movie from a book, but I won't bore you.
