Spectors by Angelia Almos. 

A space pirate almost loses everything she cares about when she’s blackmailed by the military into running a dangerous mission.

Science Fiction Fantasy Saturday Snippet:

“Fine.” She turned to him with an overly sweet smile. “I apologize.”

“That’s better,” Wilhelmina purred. “Don’t you both feel better now?”

Kristy was given a reprieve when the comm beeped. Glenn Cadoc’s voice came over the speakers. “Kristy to the bridge.”

She jumped up and headed out the opposite door more eagerly than she would have normally to see what Glenn wanted. Anything to escape the touchy-feely session Wilhelmina was gearing up for.

      Yeah, too many on her ship seem to want her to get in touch with her feelings. She's not having any of that.

      Thanks, JC. Kristy wasn't easy to write, she keeps things very buried, but she's fun even if you have to pry the littlest thing from her.

Books to Movies Giveaway Hop

One of my favorite subjects are books to movies. I LOVE watching adaptations and studying the skill of turning a book into a movie. Adaptations are getting a lot of attention now with the success of the Twilight and The Hunger Games series.
